Dimi Barot, M.D.

Dr. Dimi Barot graduated from a 7-year Honors Program in Medicine in 2001. He continued to the top-ranked University of Miami Neurology Program and was fellowship-trained in sleep medicine via the Yale University School of Medicine. He subsequently returned to Virginia as the first sleep fellowship-trained specialist in the state. Dr. Barot has already been anointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and has been repeatedly honored with the Patients’ Choice Award, America’s Top Physicians Award and America’s Most Compassionate Physicians Award. Dr. Barot is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine and is an Associate Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He was elected the youngest Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and the youngest Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). He has published articles in national journals and chapters in authoritative textbooks on sleep medicine.

Seong Kim, MPA, PA-C

Seong Kim, MPA, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and recent honors graduate from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She received an undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 and has worked 6 years in Nuclear Medicine at CJW Medical Center (Chippenham Campus) prior to joining the SCA family. She is excited to be joining the SCA family and looks forward to providing excellent patient-centered quality care.

During her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, pup (Chippi), family, and friends. In addition to English, she is also fluent in Korean.
